To ensure the safety of the children and our staff, parents are given a pass code to enter the building and visitors must be buzzed in by the office staff. Cameras are also located within the building. Our staff are trained and kept up to date with our customized Emergency Preparedness Plan covering all potential emergency situations.
Good nutrition is a key part of our program that promotes healthy eating and an active lifestyle. When children are provided healthy meals and snacks it increases a child’s mindset and energy level conducive to learning and exploration. One aspect of a healthy environment is being mindful of children with environmental, food, or medical allergies.
Our research-based curriculum, Frog Street, includes age-appropriate activities to help develop and enhance your child's intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Cultural awareness and diversity are vital for children to set social goals and promote respect for all people and the environment. We utilize books, music, games, and a wide range of activities to teach children about diverse cultures and the world. Peach State Academy encourages parental involvement to share their family funds of knowledge with the children and staff.
Literacy is a key factor in a child’s education. Peach State Academy promotes literacy at an early age. We have an abundant selection of diverse books to meet a variety of interest for everyone. Interactive reading is a part of the schedule and when age appropriate, children are encouraged to read on their own.
Effective communication is of the utmost importance to us. We welcome questions, feedback, or discussions of any kind that are oriented towards a positive outcome for the child or children. Sensitive issues will be discussed in private.
Our School maintains an open-door policy for parents. Parents are encouraged to participate in the school’s activities as much as possible.
It is our goal to have 100% of our staff be trained in CPR and First Aid. It is our expectation that our staff will exceed the minimum state training hours required.
